Allen Engineering and Science, Inc. is proud to be working with Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality to utilize RESTORE funding to implement the Beach Outfall Pilot Project in City of Gulfport, MS. The project will be a pilot to study the reductions in stormwater pollutants into the Gulf of America (or Mississippi Sound) by utilizing a treatment train system at the outfall. The treatment system incorporates a mechanical treatment unit with the natural biological treatment of a constructed marsh area.
