Debra Emmert Joins Allen Engineering and Science

Joins Rapidly Expanding Firm with Southeastern Focus

Dallas, TX: Allen Engineering and Science announces the hiring of Debra Emmert as a national Sales Executive, with a focus on projects in Texas and the Gulf Coast area. Debra brings 22 years of experience in key account management, environmental and geotechnical business development for private sector projects to this newly created position. Allen Engineering Executive Vice President, Melissa Pringle, said of Ms. Emmert’s hiring, “She brings a wealth of sales and marketing experience to this role, which will further advance our market position in various sectors.”

She is a member of the Society of Texas Environmental Professionals (STEP), Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), and the North Texas Association of Environmental Professionals (NTAEP). She will be based out of Allen Engineering and Science’s Dallas/Ft. Worth office.

Miller to Speak on Resiliency at National APA Conference

Kimberly Miller, AICP, of AllenES will be speaking on “Catalyzing Coastal Change via Competition” at the American Planning Association’s nationalconference in New Orleans on April 22nd, 2018.

In 2017 Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) hosted the Mississippi Beach Outfalls Challenge, offering competitors a chance to redesign outdated stormwater management structures. One of the challenge winners, AllenES, a firm focused on resiliency, shoreline restoration, and sea-level rise adaptation, will join the MDEQ to talk about the need for the challenge and way its proposed solution works with coastal habitats.

Governors’ Action Plan III for Healthy and Resilient Coasts Now Available

This plan showcases reorganized Teams, new focus areas, and direction for the Gulf of Mexico Alliance nonprofit. Approved by all five Gulf Coast governors.
