Allen Engineering and Science (AllenES) was the design team lead for the recently completed STARBASE facility (Bldg. 335) at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi. STARBASE is a premier youth education program sponsored by the DoD, with students participating in challenging “hands-on, minds-on” activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Students interact with military personnel to explore careers and observe STEM applications in the “real world.”
